Mathilde Danglade was born on the Island of Ré, off the French Atlantic coast. As far as she remembers, she was sketching and always wanted to be a stylist. After several years in advertisement and publishing, she decided to apply her artistic talent and taste for gems to the creation of original jewelry.

Several years spent in Hong Kong fueled her fascination for precious stones and inspired her to design tasteful pieces to the delight of her family and friends.
Back in France in 2007, she opened M29, her first concept store in Saint Martin on the Island of Ré. She also launched her first jewelry collection, which was immediately singled out by exclusive fashion stores in France and Belgium. In 2012, she opened a second concept store, M32, in Brussels’ chic district of Place Brugmann.
 

There is a distinct Asian influence in all of Mathilde’s elegant creations. Each piece is unique. Mathilde’s delicate design combines gold and silver with colorful gemstones, uncut diamonds and exquisite pebbles handpicked on the beaches of her native island. Her collections include necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings.
